KICK ASS: A VIOLENT, FIVE ALARM, FOUR STAR FANTASY

Kick-Ass is a five-alarm fire that deserves a four-star rating.

It also requires a warning. Despite its comic-book origins and socko entertainment values, this is not a movie for children or the easily offended.

Kick-Ass is an assault on the senses, with bullets firing, blades slashing and bodies thudding, bleeding and burning at every turn. The violence is most graphically seen and felt in the turbulence of Chloë Grace Moretz, just 11 when she made this, who plays a sociopathic pre-teen vigilante aptly named Hit Girl.

Snitchseeker interviewed Harry Potter stars Matthew Lewis (Neville Longbottom) and Chris Rankin (Percy Weasley) about how their characters have developed over the course of the series and what fans can expect from them in Deathly Hallows. I do know that Neville plays a big role in the final book, so we’ll see what happens with that.
