Alexander Skarsgard keeping his clothes on in ‘Battleship’ via Wetpaint

The men of True Blood must be allergic to shirts, since they’re always going without one. But Alexander Skarsgard says he remains fully clothed in his new movie, Battleship (booooo!).

“I keep my clothes on,” he tells Metro. (Boooo again!)

As much as Alex loves playing Eric Northman, he likes to spice up his career with different kinds of roles.

“If you do a show that gets a lot of attention, you can get typecast but, as an actor, I want new challenges,” he explains. “When I’m not on True Blood, I want to do different characters. If not, I won’t learn.”

Alex has a ton of of projects in the works, but he’s ready to put even more on his plate. But first, of course, his first duty is to the HBO hit.

“We’re in the middle of shooting season five of True Blood, then I don’t know. I’m looking for projects for the summer,” he says.
