Michaela McManus on The Vampire Diaries: First Look
www.tvfanatic.com: In a recent, extensive interview, Vampire Diaries producer Julie Plec previewed the show’s mid-season cliffhanger. Hint: it will have to do with an influx of werewolves.
But Plec also teased the role of Michaela McManus, who will come on board December 9 and portray Jules, a friend of Mason’s from Florida. Look for this character to “cause all kinds of trouble,” Plec says. That’s all we can report for now… but it’s rather intriguing, no?

www.tv.com: There’s a lot going on if you’re a resident of Mystic Falls. It seems that just about every form of supernatural creature is beginning to surface this season on The Vampire Diaries. Sadly, the latest introduction of Warlocks comes as a potential cock-block to Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) who was just getting close to Bonnie (Katerina Graham). Will Luka (guest star Bryton James) be a potential love interest? It’s doubtful that there will be much of a future between Luka and Bonnie since Luka’s father is in bed with Elijah (Daniel Gillies), one of the first vampires. Not only is Elijah hell bent on killing Bonnie’s BFF Elena (Nina Dobrev), he also loathes Damon’s (Ian Somerhalder) latest bed buddy Rose (Lauren Cohan). Speaking of Rose, was Damon and Rose a one night fling? Let’s hope not. The two have chemistry and it would be great to see Damon move on from brooding over Elena. After all, there will always be The Vampire Diaries Season 3 to explore an Elena-Damon relationship.
