TAKE A CLOSER LOOK AT DAVID SLADE
www.examiner.com: Over the past few months, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse director David Slade has been making the elusive Eclipse set a little more transparent with his charming and faithful messages through whirlwind social network site Twitter.
His tweets started back up in July of this year (after a brief hiatus), and they’ve been on a fairly constant and informative basis ever since.
Besides doling out great information from the set, like the most recent revelation (“Just wrapped our last night shoot. Shot with Nikki Reed and Jack Huston all night. Now buzzing and unable to sleep” … an answer to the latest series of Eclipse set update questions), Slade has also been sending out samples of his photography – like this photograph of Twilight star Taylor Lautner that Slade said was “during early camera lighting tests.”

KRISTEN STEWART BITES HER LIP A LOT
www.examiner.com: Kristen Stewart recently became the subject of a rather tame spotlight of humor by the often-lewd College Humor for her constant lip action in at least two films – Adventureland and Twilight.
No, it wasn’t her on-screen kisses that made a mashable worthwhile. Instead, in the video, several snippets of Stewart’s tendency to bite her lip are sliced together to create a rather cute and constant observation about her appearance in the films.
To be honest, it’s a little creepy to see such attention paid to the lips of a 19-year-old actress, and a little unfair to her thespian abilities, but it is funny that, once you notice a quirk, it’s hard to ignore.

SUMMIT CONFIRMS BREAKING DAWN PRESS RELEASE WAS A FAKE
www.thedeadbolt.com: When Twilight Saga news hits the web, nothing is set in Twilight stone until Summit Entertainment gives the official Twilight word, which now applies to a fake press release about Breaking Dawn that claims the Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn has been given a green light into production. To burst a Twilight bubble, the Breaking Dawn press release is a fake and Breaking Dawn still doesn’t have a green Twilight light.
According to the Twilighters at Twilight Source, the Breaking Dawn press release went wide on the Twilight web Monday morning regarding the Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn being given the go-ahead into production. Twilight Source reveals that Summit Entertainment contacted them to confirm that the Breaking Dawn press release was not issued by Summit and contains inaccurate Twilight Saga related information.

PETER TALKS ‘NEW MOON’
www.insidemovies.moviefone.com: The hype behind ‘The Twilight Saga: New Moon’ release continues, as this year’s most anticipated sequel prepares to claw its way into cineplexes next month. The cast is stoked, too, including Peter Facinelli (aka Dr. Carlisle Cullen), whom we caught up with on the red carpet at last week’s Sony Vaio launch event in New York. He’s even anticipating the third movie. But let’s not get ahead of ourselves here.
“I think people should be excited about the action that the second one’s going to bring,” beamed Facinelli. “We still have this love triangle between Rob, Kristen and Taylor that grows in the second one, but as a guy I love to see some action too, and we have a lot more action with the werewolves coming out in full form. That’s going to be fun to watch. It’s something that when you read the books you can imagine, but when you see it it’s a whole other thing.

‘NEW MOON’ SOUNDTRACK RELEASE PUSHED UP TO THIS FRIDAY!
www.mtv.com: You hear a lot about albums being pushed back for a bit of track tweaking or new recording, but unless a CD leaks early online, you rarely see release dates for major CDs pushed forward.
But when you’re dealing with anything “Twilight”-related, the old rules don’t apply. According to a press release issued on Tuesday (October 13), due to “overwhelming and unprecedented” demand, the release date for the soundtrack to “New Moon” is being pushed up by four days from its original October 20 release to this Friday, October 16.

THE ‘NEW MOON’ SCORE GETS A COVER
www.examiner.com: The cover art for The Twilight Saga: New Moon: The Score has just been seen on Amazon, the place which you found out in September was pre-selling the album (to be released on November 24th).
As you know, the score is being composed by Alexandre Desplat – recent recipient of a Hollywood Award.
Twilight‘s score was composed by Carter Burwell, whose music will still be a part of The Twilight Saga: New Moon as well.

CHARLIE BEWLEY STRUGGLED TO GET TO KNOW THE GUARDED ‘NEW MOON’ CAST
www.contactmusic.com: Twilight newcomer Charlie Bewley found it tough to make friends with the close-knit cast –
insisting it took his famous co-stars a long time to accept him.
He says, “It’s a very young crowd. They are very talked about . So they’re on their guard a lot of the time. It’s just human nature for it to take time for everyone to gel, to bond and (for them) to suss people out.”
But things soon thawed after shooting began: “After two or three days of shooting, I was starting to get a lot warmer with some of the people I had not met before … they are really cool people, wonderful people.”
