Let’s forget about the brooding little vampire she plays in the Twilight series. Can you say “paycheck”? Fanning started out young, mostly with roles on TV, and even graced an episode of Malcolm in the Middle like Emma Stone did. Fanning worked her way up, changing with the times and taking on more and more demanding roles. This past year she stepped into maybe her most demanding role yet — Cherie Currie in the band biopic The Runaways. Fanning takes on a lot for the role of the rock star who found herself buried in a life of drugs, booze, and sex at such a young age. One of the most interesting aspects of her role was that Fanning was the same age as Currie was during filming. Fanning portrays a young girl’s foray into the world of rock ‘n’ roll just as you’d expect it to happen. She’s come a long way since the screaming, crying girl running from killer aliens in War of the Worlds. The wide-eyed look of horror she sported in so many of her earlier films as a child has given way to a mature actress who is evolving with the types of roles she’s accepting.

Ashley Greene: Getting Fit for “Breaking Dawn”

celebrity-gossip.net: The Alice Cullen cutie appeared to be getting in shape for the final installments of “The Twilight Saga” as she stayed at the fitness center for an impressive three hours.

And though she definitely puts in the hours at the gym, Miss Greene recently revealed that she’s no longer trying to stick to a diet.

She told Star magazine, “I don’t do the diet thing anymore, I’m a big believer in feeding your body what it needs. Deny yourself something and you’re going to end up shoving your face full of it.”

The Twilight Saga — is Kristen Stewart ready to take on other new projects?

www.examiner.com: The star of the films Kristen Stewart is attracting a lot of attention over a film that is set to be released in the United States in Novemeber entitled, Welcome to the Rileys. In a new interview, director Jake Scott reveals why Stewart may be ready to start taking on new projects.

According to E! Online, Scott reportedly said of Stewart:

“[Kristen]’s been playing this same character in—what?—two or three movies now, and that frustrates her…She wants to be taken seriously as an actress—and the crazy thing is, before Twilight, she was doing that kind of work…She’s very proud of her work in this movie.”

American Music Awards Nominees

Yesterday the list for the American Music Awards nominees was released and the Twilight Saga fans can be happy to know that The Twilight Saga: Eclipse soundtrack is among the nominees, also bands like Muse and Vampire Weekend who have participated in the soundtracks appear there too. I’ve always liked Dakota and Kristen’s movies. I feel that Dakota went from a little girl to a young lady so fast, she’s worked in so many movies, been the daughter, sister and friend of so many great actresses and actors. She’s been kidnapped more that once, one of her moms has been an alien and she’s even been Kristen’s daughter in Cutless. Coincidence? 😉 And, I understand that Kristen got more attention with the twilight movies because the fans made them so big, but it was not the first time she had done a fiction/fantasy movie or something of this genre, she had done Zathura and the Messengers which were different from the Panic Room (which is my favorite and first time I saw her) and Speak, a genre that seems to be her favorite, but in my opinion she’s a good actress and will take on other roles. Not just her, but all of the cast too.
