“Twilight” Leads Quileute Tribe To Help Museum Tell Their Story
Wolves that once roamed the wild Olympics, the stories say, were the first Quileute ancestors, transfigured by Kwati, a shape shifter and transformer as old and familiar here as the mist that rolls in from the Pacific.
That creation story, and much more of the Quileute culture, will be shared in a new exhibit at the Seattle Art Museum beginning Saturday.
The goal of the exhibit is simple: It’s a chance for the tribe to set the record straight after its international exposure in the vampire-themed “Twilight” books and films, in which Quileute tribal members are depicted as teen werewolves provoked into snarling fits of temper.

A Look At the Final Numbers for “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse”
E! Online took a look at the box office numbers for “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” to see how they stacked up against the other “Twilight” films as well as their competition.
With a $290.2 million domestic take, as of Wednesday, Eclipse is the third-biggest grosser of the summer, and the fourth biggest of the year. Worldwide, it’s at about $650 million, which makes it the year’s biggest 2-D movie so far, and third biggest overall, behind the 3-D-assisted Alice in Wonderland and Toy Story 3.
New Moon made a lot of money—more than $20 million—after it fell out of the Top 10. This means that while Eclipse holds a substantial lead over its predecessor now, the race for No. 1 may tighten when all is said and counted. Worldwide, New Moon is the one with the substantial lead over Eclipse.

I love the video of Rob singing. (*swoon*) I happen to be among those who love his voice. I dig the bluesy, soulful sound. His love of Van Morrison’s music really comes through when he sings. I really hope that something works out to where he can have a song or two on the “Breaking Dawn” soundtracks.
Oh, how I wish that I was in the UK to get my hands on that white and crimson special edition set of the books!
