KRISTEN STEWART VICTIM OF HOAX
If your BFF has called, tweeted, or emailed you to tell you that Kristen Stewart was in a car accident and is in serious condition in a California hospital, please tell them that this is an incredibly tacky hoax. GossipCop.com has debunked this “report” by the Global Associated News as a rumor. Never fear, Twilight fans…Bella Swan’s danger magnet has not affected Kristen Stewart.
DAVID SLADE TWEETS ABOUT “ECLIPSE” MUSICAL SCORE
“The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” director David Slade tweeted an update on the score for the film on his personal Twitter account yesterday, stating Howard Shore composer and conductor at Abbey Rd Studios with Orchestra. Our sound score recording is complete and http://twitpic.com/1heocw .
QUESTIONS CONTINUE ABOUT “ECLIPSE” RESHOOTS
There have been dozens and dozens of reports about some of the scenes from “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” being reshot in the next few weeks. Reports vary from which scenes will be reshot to who will direct the scenes, as well as the rationale for the reshoots. LaineyGossip.com reports:
Multiple sources have confirmed to me that some key scenes need to be reshot including footage between “Bella” and “Edward” in the meadow and a few fight sequences. They’ve been waiting for weeks to confirm dates but have had to work around Robert Pattinson’s schedule. Originally they needed 7 days but now, due to his other commitments, it’s been proposed that they work for 3 days with the crew putting in 18 hours each day. This should happen in Vancouver in the next few weeks.
Reelzchannel.com goes on to report:
Reshoots this late aren’t the most uncommon thing in the movie world, though if true, it would be less than ideal. Final promotion is gearing up to launch, and surely reshoots would cause actor appearances to be put on hold?
Finally, GossipCop.com reports that the rumors are just that – rumors. David Slade is on board for the shooting and that the reshoots have been planned for months.
WHAT HAPPENS TO KELLAN LUTZ AND NIKKI REED AFTER “BREAKING DAWN”?
It’s obvious that Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner have some promising careers ahead of them if they can pick the right projects because of their current mega-star status, but have you ever wondered how the rest of the Twilight Saga cast might fare? In this article at flix66.com, Brad Sturdivant takes a look at the resumes of Kellan Lutz and Nikki Reed and prognosticates on their future success in Hollywood.
On Kellan Lutz:
I really think he could be a big action star in the vein of Dwayne Johnson or Jason Statham if he wants to go that route. There’s a void in the action movie genre that Kellan could fill. But we still need to see him carry his own film (DEATHGAMES should take care of that) before I have too much confidence. But his future is pretty bright and I give him a 50% chance of being relevant after TWILIGHT: BREAKING DAWN.
On Nikki Reed:
Of the six stars I’ve talked about so far, I have to say that Nikki is the hardest to predict. I want to give her a lot of credit for THIRTEEN and say that she’ll have a career based off that alone. But I have to remind myself that THIRTEEN was seven years ago and she still hasn’t taken off. But with the Twilight films and some other projects coming up, I think Nikki has a good chance to break out of the mold and I give her a 60% chance of being relevant after Twilight: Breaking Dawn is over.
MORE “BREAKING DAWN” REVELATIONS FROM MELISSA ROSENBERG
from reelempire.com:
Melissa was in attendance at the “Twilight Saga: New Moon” DVD release party held by Fred Meyers in Seattle, Washington when she revealed the following information.
First and foremost, Rosenberg explained how she planned to condense an 800-page book into a movie with a two hour runtime. She stated, “Very carefully. You start with, and you end with, what is the emotional journey with these characters. That is the most important thing to capture, that is the only thing to capture. Everything else is up for grabs, but you must take these characters on the same emotionaljourney that they took in the book, and hence take the audience on the same emotional journey that they took in the book and that’s the goal, you hope that you achieve that. some people would say I did, some people would say I don’t.”
Ugh…the hoax about Kristen Stewart being hurt in a car accident just makes me sick. I don’t care who the person is, you just don’t joke about that kind of stuff. Period.
I love getting the updates on the progress of the movie straight from the people working on it. It’s hard to believe that the movie will be out in just over two months!
I thought that the article about Nikki and Kellan’s careers was rather interesting. While they may or may not end up with mega-star status, being relevant is certainly something to aspire toward. As we’ve seen from so many reality shows, it doesn’t take much to be a insanely famous (i.e. the cast of Jersey Shore or Jon Gosselin), but being relevant takes so much more.
