‘Twilight Saga’s wolf Paul angrier in ‘Eclipse’
Twilight Saga character Paul, a “bad boy” werewolf, will be angrier in the third film Eclipse, which will see a lot more fight scenes, actor Alex Meraz said in a recent interview.
“It’s going to be a lot more wolf action, a lot more fights, we introduce a new threat so it’s going to be really cool,” he said about the movie, which also stars Robert Pattinson as Edward the vampire, an adversary of the wolves, and Kristen Stewart as Bella, his teenage human love interest.
“My character is Paul and he’s the bad boy of the wolf pack and he’s even angrier in this movie, in ‘Eclipse’, so it’s going to be fun,” Meraz, 24, said in a promotional video for the Op clothing brand, available at discount department store chain Walmart.
Eclipse is set to be released on June 30. Check out its trailer! Meraz’s character was first introduced in the second Twilight film, New Moon, which was released in 2009.

Vampire stories beat Bible in book sales in Australia
AUSTRALIA’S reading tastes are changing – we like more bite in our books.
An annual survey of more than 35,000 booklovers has found fantasy – mainly vampire stories – is the most popular genre.
Bookseller Dymocks’ Top101 best books survey for 2010 was led by Stephanie Meyer’s Twilight series, for the second year in a row.
J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter series came second, followed by Jane Austen’s timeless romance Pride and Prejudice.
But Austen is hemmed in by creatures of the night, with fantasy titles including Vampire Academy, The Mortal Instruments, and the Sookie Stackhouse series also making an appearance.
“The current trend we’re seeing from the inaugural survey is a shift from classic novels to fantasy fiction as evident through the Twilight phenomenon,” Dymocks chief executive Don Grover said in a statement. MORE HERE

The Wayans brothers have carved out a cottage industry niche with their satirical brand of movie making that follows in the footsteps of the old Mel Brooks spoosf – only these are funny!
On their MySpace page (uh-oh… didn’t MySpace die last year?) they’ve announced that Twilight is now as big a phenomenon as the slasher flicks that inspired their “Scary Movie” movies that have been a big moneymaker for the bros formerly from the projects in the Bronx.
They’ve also confirmed that Andy Samberg will be playing “Edward Coolman” and that Miley Cyrus will be snagging a cameo role.
If all goes well, they plan on making it a trilogy.
