SET YOUR DVR! ROBERT PATTINSON TO APPEAR ON “THE VIEW”
Robert Pattinson has a date with the ladies from “The View.”
The dreamy RPattz himself will make his first appearance on the ABC morning talk show March 2 to promote his new (non-vampire) movie, “Remember Me.”
The 23-year-old plays a troubled New York college student named Tyler who falls in love with a young girl played by Emilie de Ravin.
TAYLOR LAUTNER BIRTHDAY COUNTDOWN
The folks over at Zap2It.com have compiled a series of videos to celebrate the countdown to Taylor Lautner’s 18th birthday – a day when cougars around the world will rejoice in the fact that he is no longer considered jail bait. Here are a few samplings of their compilation going back to his Sharkboy days, including a video that he and his ex-girlfriend made for school featuring Taylor lip-syncing to One Republic’s “Apologize”.
NEW MOON SNAGS FOUR “RAZZIE” AWARD NOMINATIONS
from examiner.com:All the money at the worldwide box office and the adoration of nearly every female with the ability to read were still not enough to prevent the phenomenon known as the Twilight series from receiving Golden Raspberry, or Razzie, nominations.
The Razzies are the only movie awards organization designed to celebrate – or is that denigrate? – the worst films of the year.
Twilight: New Moon received abominations – sorry – nominations for Worst Supporting Actor (Robert Pattinson) Worst Couple (Kristen Stewart plus Pattinson or Taylor Lautner) Worst Screenplay, and Worst Remake, Ripoff, or Sequel.
MICHAEL WELCH TO HOST CONCERT FOR THE HOMELESS
from examiner.com:
It has just been announced that “The Twilight Saga: New Moon” and “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” star Michael Welch will be hosting a special benefit concert in Los Angeles on March 2nd (at the Roxy) to help raise awareness for homelessness.
According to one source, Welch will be teaming up with Nashville band SHIROCK and other special guest celebrities to hold the concert, and the event will not be a ticket-based one. Instead, attendants are simply to bring clothing and cash donations for the local homeless population.
Thank God for the DVR! I’ll be sure to set mine to record Robert on “The View” and then I can fast forward to his appearance and ignore the rest.
The videos that Zap2It compiled really show how he’s grown up. I still have trouble ogling him like many women do, though…see jailbait reference above!
Something tells me that the folks at Summit don’t really care all that much about the Razzie awards. They’re too busy going “cha-ching! cha-ching!” while counting the piles of cash that fill their coffers from the film.
It’s nice to hear something about Michael Welch in the news – he tends to get overlooked by a lot of the media. Poor Newton…
