In shock and denial over his Marine father’s death in battle, star Lacrosse player Conor Sullivan, always a maverick and a hothead, starts acting out in self-destructive ways that have his mom, Claire, at her wit’s end. Summit Threatens Legal Action Against Impostor
Summit Entertainment has threatened legal action against a New York businessman who has been posing as a representative of Summit and duping cast members into attending screenings. Deadline.com has copies of the letter from Summit Entertainment’s legal counsel to Omar Amanat as well as emails from Mr. Amanat where he purported to be a representative of Summit.
Fans and event organizers beware – look for that Summit logo on the letterhead (and probably summitentertainment.com in the email address) if you are in communication with anyone for any special events.
I’m so excited that they are finally getting into the filming and I’m glad to know that Stephenie is on-site for the shoot. Do you think that it was really necessary to go to Brazil for the shoot or do you think that any tropical locale would do?
I hate to think of how many fans the impostor may have duped into thinking that they could get a set visit or an opportunity to meet a member of the cast, despite the disclaimer that he put on his emails.
