BRONSON PELLETIER ASSAULTED AT TWILIGHT CONVENTION

 Bronson Pelletier, who plays wolf pack member Jared, was assaulted by four men in a British hotel where Pelletier was staying for a Twilight convention.  Popeater.com reports: 

Four men, who were allegedly drunk guests at a nearby wedding in the same venue, attacked Pelletier in the men’s room of a Hilton hotel where he was a main attraction at ‘Eternal Twilight 4,’ a fan expo packed with teenage girls in Birmingham, about 120 miles from London (Peter Facinelli was the biggest ‘Twilight’ star originally booked to appear, but was ultimately a no-show). 

Pelletier suffered a broken nose in the confrontation, during which the men reportedly struck and headbutted him until he was able to escape. Police chased the suspects, and witnesses say cops used a Taser to restrain one. All four were arrested on suspicion of assault; two have since been released and two were granted bail, pending further investigation. The motive for the attack has not been made public.

JACKSON RATHBONE JOINS TWI-CON LINEUP FOR 2011

Jackson Rathbone and his band, 100 Monkeys, have been added to the lineup of Twilight stars to appear at Twilight Conventions being held in 2011.  Fans can see him in San Francisco in February; Nashville and Los Angeles in March; and Arlington, Virginia, in April.   For more details on who will be appearing at which convention, check out the roster that Twilightish has compiled and visit the Official Twilight Convention site to get your tickets.
 

FUN WITH “JUMPING ROB”

Remember the photo of Rob jumping into the water in those black boxer briefs while shooting “Breaking Dawn” in Brazil?  Well…people have been having all kinds of fun with that image and a site dedicated to PhotoShop manips of the image has emerged with some absolutely hilarious memes.  Check out a sampling of the images below and you can see all of the images here.  (Apologies for the name of the site – we’re just posting the link and have nothing to do with the name.)

 

 
 

ROBERT PATTINSON IS NOT PRINCE WILLIAM’S BEST MAN

This was just too funny not to share!  OneIndia reported that Robert Pattinson was going to be the best man in Prince William and Kate Middleton’s wedding ceremony after the satire site The Spoof published it.  The story from The Spoof  included made-up quotes such as this one:
“William believes Pattinson would be the ideal Best Man,” said Cider. “He dresses well, speaks properly and has a good pedigree. Additionally, he may take some of the paparazzi away from Kate and Wills, letting them get some alone time on their wedding day. Especially if he turns up with Pixie Lott.”

One India actually published the the following:

It is said that Prince William and Robert Pattinson became close friends after the release of Twilight, they started to text regularly and keep in touch. They are even neighbors on Farmville, the famous game on Facebook.

It is also said that Prince William has no intentions of making his brother, Harry to be his best man. Reports state that,”William does not trust Harry to officiate the capacity of Best Man properly. He would probably turn up after a heavy nights drinking dressed as RuPaul.”

I hate hearing about Bronson being assaulted.  I hope that he recovers quickly and that the authorities can quickly get to the bottom of what happened. 
 
The clip of filming the Bella and Jacob scene was pretty cool.  It always amazes me to see how they do the special effects in films.  If you happen to recall any of Kristen or Taylor’s interviews during the press junkets, this would be the “Teletubbie” scene that they referred to.  I have to confess that Taylor does, in fact, look like a Teletubbie in that shot!
What do you think of the “jumping Rob” pictures?  I ran across that site a couple of days ago and absolutely laughed out loud at many of them.  It was just too funny not to share.
Poor, poor One India…do they not understand that The Spoof is just that – a site dedicated to making crap up?   *shakes head*
