Save Forks High School!
This is an update to the story posted above. A group of Twilight fans have banded together to create Twilighters for Forks and have set up a fund to help save Forks High School’s infamous facade.
The residents of the city of Forks are struggling to save its now-famous Forks High School brick building. Plans are currently in progress to possibly tear down the building to make way for an expansion of the high school. The Forks community cannot afford the cost of preserving the building, but with the help of the Twilight fandom, it may be possible to save Forks High School!
The West Olympic Peninsula Betterment Association, a non-profit and entirely volunteer organization, has established the “Twilighters for Forks” campaign with the purpose of saving the Forks High School’s brick building in order to preserve author Stephenie Meyer’s vision of the school’s appearance as described in her books.
Checks may also be mailed directly to Twilighters for Forks P.O. Box 2431 Forks WA 98331.

Kristen Stewart Looking At Two Post-Twilight Roles
What’s next for Kristen Stewart when she wraps filming of “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn”? Here’s what may be on her plate according to a few industry publications:
The first, via Production Weekly and Bloody-Disgusting, is the role of Talia in DreamWorks’ teen thriller Someone in the Dark about a young man from the wrong side of the tracks caught in a game of cat-and-mouse with a mysterious woman (Stewart) and her dangerous stepfather. Carlos Brooks (Burning Bright) is set to direct.
Production Weekly is also reporting Stewart is considering a part in Little America, a chase movie about a 16-year-old prostitute who accidentally kills a gang member and the truck driver she bonds with on the run. Stewart is interested in the young prostitute role — though it seems somewhat similar to her Welcome the Rileys part — and Josh Brolin is circling the trucker. Peter Craig (The Town) wrote the script and Ron Howard and Brian Grazer are producing.

Wahoo! I’m glad to finally see a release date for the official guide. I’ve been waiting for that little tidbit for what seems like forever. I feel sorry for the folks who pre-ordered ages ago, having already paid and are still waiting for a book that was supposed to be released almost two years ago.
I can’t believe that there is still two months before the release of the “Eclipse” DVD and I’m sure that we’ll be bombarded with about a zillion different special editions, deluxe editions, collector’s editions to choose from. I’m just thrilled to see that there will be deleted scenes. That’s something that I really wish that they had included with the “New Moon” DVD.
