Twilight Convention gets underway in Seattle
A Twilight Convention gets underway Jan. 15 in Seattle; fans of the movies based on Stephenie Meyer’s books will meet stars from the films, including Peter Facinelli, Chaske Spencer, Daniel Cudmore and Charlie Bewley.
The most fervid fans of “Twilight” — and you know who you are — booked tickets months ago for the official Twilight Convention that gets underway today at the Westin Seattle. But there are still some tickets for sale at the door.
Organizers promise three days of panel discussions, parties, musical performances and autograph sessions with some of the actors who’ve appeared in the first two films based on Stephenie Meyer’s best-selling novels.
Peter Facinelli, who plays Dr. Carlisle Cullen, appears today; Chaske Spencer, one of the wolf pack, Saturday and Sunday. Also Saturday: Daniel Cudmore and Charlie Bewley, two “vampires” who visited Seattle on a promotional tour last year. Presumably top-billed stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner are busy sharpening their fangs (or learning their lines) for the next movie, due out this summer.
