TWILIGHT HAS BIG NIGHT AT 2011 PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARDS

The Twilight Saga and it’s stars had a good night at last night’s People’s Choice Awards.  Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner were all in attendance.   “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” and the stars were nominated in several categories and took home the following awards:

Favorite Movie Actress: Kristen Stewart

Favorite Movie:  “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse”

Favorite Drama Movie:  “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse”

Favorite On Screen Team:  Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, and Kristen Stewart – “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse”

While not directly a part of The Twilight Saga, some other awards were given with strong ties to Twilight.  “Nightmare on Elm Street”, featuring Kellan Lutz, won for Favorite Horror Movie.  Paramore won the award for Favorite Rock Band.  Twilight screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg’s other writing job  “Dexter” took home the award for Favorite TV Obsession.

KRISTEN STEWART REVEALS “BREAKING DAWN” FILMING NEWS

During her acceptance speech for Favorite Movie Actress, Kristen revealed to everyone watching that she “was a vampire this morning”. 

What do you think of Kristen’s little revelation?  Were you surprised to learn that they are already filming scenes of Bella as a vampire?  I can’t help but wonder if all of the pregnancy scenes will be the last ones filmed as they will require the prosthetics and special makeup for the bruises and to make Bella look like death warmed over. The makeup team already has the process for making the cast look like vampires down pat and for making the humans look human, but they have yet to have a human pregnant with a half-vampire/half-human baby that is sucking the life out of her.

What did you think of the stars’ awards show attire for the evening?  Taylor looked awesome in that black-on-black suit.  I loved Kristen’s sparkly dress (channeling that sparkly vampire from this morning, maybe?).  Her hair also looks really good.  I’m glad to see her rid of the Joan Jett mullet.  I’m not really sure what I think of Rob’s casual look for the night.  Don’t get me wrong, he would look good in my grandmother’s house dress but I really wanted to see him in a suit.
