Written by Ben Edlund, this episode was one of the ones fans had been anticipating for a while. It had the hilarious X-Files style credits, a guest spot from beloved genre mainstay Robert Picardo, and, well, faeries. What could possibly go wrong? Mostly, nothing.

Sneak Peek – Supernatural 6.10 “Caged Heat”

We’re counting down now to the mid-season finale of Supernatural, which will be airing on December 10. But before we get to that, we have to deal with the reappearance of Meg in the December 2 episode, in addition to really facing the possibility that Sam doesn’t want his soul back. On Friday we posted a promo for the upcoming episode on December 2 (Supernatural is on hiatus this week) and now we have a sneak peek for you.
MEG’S BACK! Meg (guest star Rachel Miner) kidnaps Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) and tries to force them to tell her where Crowley (guest star Mark A. Sheppard) is hiding. Sam makes her a deal – they will help her find Crowley if she promises to torture him for information about how to get Sam’s soul back.

The Doctor Who cast and crew are currently filming scenes from the first two episodes of season six (a two-parter written by Steven Moffat) in Utah at a region called the Valley of the Gods, and we’ve got some awesome (spoilery-ish) behind-the-scenes pics as well as a cool video.
The various pics and video feature the Doctor wearing a cowboy hat (we can hear Matt Smith saying “cowboy hats are cool” just about now), his companion Amy Pond (Karen Gillan) running away from some gun-toting Men in Black (is that special guest star Mark Sheppard we spy on that video?), her hubby Rory Pond Williams (Arthur Darvill) and River Song.

There was an episode of Torchwood with evil faeries too, although those where aliens (it was Torchwood, after all). Although it looks like the Supernatural guys kicked more butt. I like that they made Katherine (in Vampire Diaries) Bulgarian to use Nina Dobrev’s other language.
