From Kris De Leon at buddytv.com: No One is Safe on ‘The Vampire Diaries’
Mystic Falls isn’t as eerie as Harper’s Island but you can look forward to more unexpected deaths on The Vampire Diaries, proving that no one is really safe from the chopping block— not even the main characters that headline the series.
“In our first meeting with the director and writers in Atlanta, we were sat down and we were told bluntly that this isn’t The Elena Diaries, this isn’t The Stefan Diaries and this isn’t The Bonnie Diaries, this is The Vampire Diaries, and anyone can die and anything can happen. Every episode somebody dies. Yeah, there are going to be a lot more deaths, a lot more sex, a lot more magic, and fire and power,” Graham told TV.Guide.com.

By Michael Hinman at Rabid Doll: ‘Supernatural’ Celebrates Reunion as World Ends
So how about a little party — and maybe a reunion — to celebrate your last night on Earth?
That’s something the Winchester Brothers could be doing on “Supernatural” before the end of November sweeps. But will that including sending Lucifer back to hell?
“Supernatural” returns Oct. 29 with “The Curious Case of Dean Winchester.” In the episode, Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) discover a witch (played by Hal Ozsan) who is running a high-stakes poker game. The only problem is that the stakes have nothing to do with money, but instead, years of life (hope no one is dying young at that table.

Game of Thrones-Via Winter is coming@blogspot: Producer provides glimpses of possible filming locales
A great find by Ran over at Westeros has led to this visual effects producer’s blog. It looks as if Julia Frey (HA!) will be working as the VFX producer on the Game of Thrones pilot and in her blog she chronicles the location scouting trips she went on to Belfast, Morocco and Scotland. Be sure to browse through the posts as there are a lot of great pics. It looks like Benioff even makes an appearance in one of them!
As well as the great pics, I was able to glean some interesting info from the posts. One, it looks like they will be filming the Dany scenes in mid-November.

Via the Live Feed: HBO’s ‘Game of Thrones’ full cast with photos
HBO starts shooting its adaptation of George R.R. Martin’s “Game of Thrones” as a pilot in Northern Ireland, with additional locations in other countries. Though HBO has plenty of competing projects in development, this is the sort of sprawling and expensive production networks don’t typically like to pilot unless they’re pretty confident they’re also going to series.
And by and by: For those who haven’t read these books … they are fantastic. Really. Just started a a couple months ago, can’t put them down. “Sopranos” with swords. Page turners that break the “rules” of fantasy fiction, a genre I normally don’t like. Whereas adapting “Lord of the Rings” seemed downright impossible, putting “Thrones” onto HBO seems like a matter of using cut-and-paste. The dialog is already contemporary, tight and gripping, and you can even guess where each episode will break since so many chapters cliff-hang.

I was surprised to see the possible deaths in Vampire Diaries. I don’t think they’ll really kill off Elena or Stephen, but who knows? And the new episodes of Supernatural sound really cool. And I’m so excited to see photos starting to come out of Game of Thrones. They started shooting this week in Ireland.
Which character do you think will die in Vampire Diaries? What do you think of the Game of Thrones cast?
