9 SIZZLING TRUE BLOOD SPOILERS

Source: SciFi Wire

Alan Ball has a promise for True Blood viewers. The characters in his randy, violent, supernatural series aren’t going to experience long-term happiness anytime soon.

“Here’s the thing about happiness: It’s great in our lives, but it’s not really that interesting to watch on television,” said creator Ball, whose series is about to premiere its third season on HBO on June 13.

Ball feels season three is “the best season yet.” Along with the “fantastic core cast,” several new regulars will be introduced this season, as well as a number of impressive guest stars, such as Alfre Woodard, who plays Lafayette’s mother. Beyond that, “We are dealing with some new supernatural creatures. … It has just been a really fun, exciting season to put together, and I just have really, really high hopes for it. … I can’t give anything away.”

Well, actually he did give some things away … like these nine spoilers … (And between the spoilers you’ll find most of HBO’s clever posters.)

“True Blood” fans will be given lots to feast on in the show’s third season, ranging from werewolves to shape-shifter Sam Merlotte’s real family, reports USA Today.

Viewer interest in the show is shaping up to be robust, with fan site true-blood.net reporting four times as many visitors in the past month as in the same period in 2009. With the second season ending with the cliffhanger of vampire Bill being kidnapped after proposing to Sookie, the third season will kick off with werewolves helping Sookie to track down her missing beau, the USA Today article says.

Hey, “Lost,” how can we miss you if you won’t go away?

It turns out that “Lost” fanatics unable to cope since the sci-fi/mystery series ended its six-season run Sunday night could have reason to rejoice.

According to series co-star Michael Emerson (Ben), the upcoming DVD release of the entire “Lost” series will include some bonus footage — which could open yet another chapter in the show’s enigmatic history.

“For those people that want to pony up and buy the complete [‘Lost’] series, there’s a bonus feature, you can call it an epilogue, a Lost scene, and it’s a lot,” Emerson said yesterday on G4’s “Attack of the Show.”
