‘WIZARDS OF WAVERLY PLACE’ ‘WIZARDS vs. WERWOLVES’ PREMIERE FRIDAY JAN 22
A climactic, adventure-filled one-hour episode of the Emmy Award-winning comedy series “Wizards of Waverly Place” will premiere FRIDAY, JANUARY 22 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel. Guest stars Bridgit Mendler (”Good Luck Charlie”) and Gregg Sulkin (Disney Channel UK’s “As The Bell Rings”) reprise their roles as Justin’s vampire girlfriend Juliet Van Heusen (who’s recently disappeared after being turned into a mummy’s minion) and Alex’s new boyfriend, Mason, in a top-secret storyline entitled “Wizards vs. Werewolves” that’s bound to be the talk among the kid and tween set.

With ABC’s Lost returning to the air next month for it final season, we thought it would be great if someone were to put together a video highlighting all the things you should know before the new season begins. With a show as complex as Lost, audiences who’ve been watching the show from the beginning can sometimes get confused, so we can imagine how new viewers might feel.

OBAMA CRASHING LOST PREMIERE?
Lost‘s big, bad new nemesis may finally have been revealed: President Obama.
We know. We didn’t see that one coming, either! Our money was totally on that mysterious guy on the beach with Jacob or something.
According to reports, the White House is mulling over two dates for the president’s State of the Union address: Tuesday, Jan. 26 or Tuesday, Feb. 2.
Jan. 26 would preempt American Idol (which will only be in its audition phase at that point, but still, that show is bigger than God).
And Feb. 2 would preempt…oh, please don’t make us say it out loud…

You know that thing Jack Shephard (Mathhew Fox) advises about counting to five when the fear sets in? Let’s all do that together now, shall we?
Clearly, messing with the beginning of the end will not go over with Lost fans, one of whom has already launched a campaign on Twitter called #NoStateofUnionFeb2.

Lost is the type of show that if you miss an episode, your screwed. So the fact that the airing of the State of the Union address might fall on the eve of the Lost Season Final Premiere is a major ‘OMG’ to all of us Losties. Here comes Twitter to the rescue with it’s #NoStateofUnionFeb2 campaign! Twitter is the new protest and rally platform for 21st Century. You just gotta love Twitter. Hopefully the ABC station programming department will listen and switch the dates if need be. If not, the backlash would be insurmountable.
On that note…brush yourself up on Lost by viewing that the video, for I highly doubt any of you remember half of what you think you do.
