True Blood werewolf gives the scoop on Sookie
By Nikki Yee over at Examiner
It’s been apparent since the premiere of HBO’s True Blood, that leading lady, Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin) has more to her than meets the eye. A seemingly normal waitress and Southern belle, Sookie’s ability to read minds made her appear to be one of the more normal characters in the supernaturally themed show.
Season 3 will offer viewers, who haven’t followed the books, much deeper insight into Sookie, who has audiences and characters alike asking “what are you?”
A recent interview with TV Guide, has Grant Bowler, who plays werewolf pack leader, Cooter, giving some sizzling details about Sookie: “Expect stuff out of Sookie that you’ve never seen before. She’s a bit special, that girl — a lot more special than you think.”

‘The Gates’ Star Colton Haynes Teases Sunday’s Episode
Via Hollywoodcrush by Jocelyn Vena
On Sunday’s (June 27) new episode of “The Gates” — the mysteriously titled “What Lies Beneath” — Colton Haynes says that fans will start to learn just what does lie underneath the mysteries of the neighborhood.
Colton, who plays the 15-year-old footballer (who also happens to be a werewolf), teased to Hollywood Crush that in addition to the werewolves and the vampires, a whole new supernatural being will be entering the mix.
“You are… you’re gonna see a new type of character coming.” Way to be specific there, Haynes!
Not only will fans get a new mysterious “character,” but Colton says that his lady, Andie (Skyler Samuels), is also not of this world. “She’s not a werewolf, she’s not a vampire, [she’s] something a lot more sexier than that,” he shared. “Someone that needs to feed off other people in different ways, she needs other people in certain ways to live.”

Hmmmm, I wonder what they mean by Sookie is special? Are they hinting at what she finds out in the books? Already? That’s kind of early, but then again, they don’t know how many season there will be. I still haven’t been able to watch the first episode of The Gates so I don’t exactly know what is going on.
Why do you think Sookie might be extra special? Could it be what she finds out in the books? How about The Gates, what kind of supernatural being could be coming in to the show?
