Jason wakes up, tied to a skanky looking bed with a dirty mattress and two of the Hotshot kids looking over him. One of the kids, Timbow is licking a wound on Jason’s head. Jason gets him to stop and pleads with the kids to help him, to just loosen one knot and he’ll do the rest. He knows they didn’t do this and that they love him as he loves them. Timbow starts to loosen one of Jason’s bonds when Felton bolts in the room. Felton yells at the kids to leave and they do as they’re told. Jason asks where Crystal is. Felton tells him that he would worry about himself if he was Jason and that his shotgun can beat him with no legs or arms.
Sookie runs down the stairs, tying her bathrobe telling Eric to stay away from her. Eric follows her telling her that it’s no way to treat her new landlord. Sookie tells him that she is not his and she wants him out of her house. Eric tells her that it’s funny about ownership that with one piece of paper all the power she had over him is gone. Sookie tells him that he bought the house, but that doesn’t include her and he tells her that he seriously overpaid then. He tells her that her blood smells like freedom and eventually the other vampires will know that when they smell her and that she will need protection; protection that he is willing to give. She responds that she’s willing to take her chances. He goes on to tell her that he bought the house because he cares for her. He says that if all he wants is to taste her blood again, he could take it without asking, but is instead asking her to be his. He asks her how it made her feel the first time Bill claimed her as his and she tells him she was angry. Eric tells her that she’ll come around. He then goes on to explain that there are two Sookie Stackhouses; one that claims she is still barely human and the other is coming to grips with the fact that she’s better than that. She asked what would happen when she does realize she’s better and if he thinks that her legs will just magically open for him. He said that her response was saucy and that it must have been fairy Sookie talking and he likes when she comes out. He also tells her the more that she lets fairy Sookie talk for her the longer she’ll go on living. He tells her that he hopes to hear from “you girls” soon and goes to leave telling her he’ll get her screen door fixed soon.
Bill is talking to the girl that was at the witch ceremony, Katarina. She is explaining all that happened at the ceremony and he tells her that she’s done with that stuff, as it’s getting to dangerous for her to spy for him. She asks if she should send for the procurer for him, but he says no and grabs her instead. She looks more than pleased.

I really liked this episode, even more than the last one and was so happy that there was no fairy garbage except the brief glimpse that Sookie thought she saw fairies. And for the ones like myself, who have read the books, it was nice to see some of the main themes of the book come into play in this episode, such as Eric’s amnesia and Jason getting bitten.
As for just fun little stuff I loved Eric fixing things around the house for Sookie and trying to impress her, with his small gifts and little notes. And I knew exactly what the armoire was before she opened it, but it still made me chuckle with her reaction. I thought it was sweet to see Terry with the baby and him explaining that his mom is just a little crazy sometimes.
So far, I’m finding Jessica and Hoyt to be a bit boring, but am loving Pam!
There was some male nudity in this one…but not exactly the ones I wanted to see….and I’m ready for Alcide to make an appearance already!!
I’m finding Bill to be much darker and more evil, than he was in the books or previous seasons. I’mconvinced he set Eric up…now whether he meant for Eric to get hurt or killed, I’m not sure, but would probably lean towards the latter. I highly doubt he meant for him to only lose his memory though, but you never know.
I wish Sookie would just quit fighting Eric already…we all know she will eventually be his so quit resisting already. And the sooner she does, the sooner we’ll see some naked Eric…she needs to take one for the team for crying out loud!!
What did you think of this episode?
Do you think Arlene’s baby is going to be evil or it’s just Arlene over-reacting?
Do you think Eric will try to taste Sookie now that he doesn’t know who she is, but can smell her fairy blood?
What do you think Bill will do once Sookie takes Eric in (which we can only assume she will)?
