We knew Ryan Kwanten was filming a movie in Sydney, Australia during True Blood’s hiatus, and now we have some details about the film thanks to TVNZ, a New Zealand entertainment site. Ryan will play a superhero in Griff the Invisible, a romantic comedy due for release in 2010.
Griff is an office worker by day and a superhero by night, a role Ryan says is “such an original and boundless character to play. Every boy dreams of being a superhero and I’ve accepted my mission to bring this one to life.” Griff’s world is turned upside down when he meets Melody, a beautiful scientist, played by Maeve Dermody.
