Are all the casting rounds on True Blood driving you crazy? In a span of just two weeks, we’ve learned that Theo Alexander landed the role of vampire Talbot, Marshall Allman was cast as Sam Merlotte’s long-lost younger brother Tommy Mickens, Grant Bowler signed on as werewolf Coot, and Shannon Lucio got the role of Bill’s first wife. And just a few days ago, Emmy-winning actress Alfre Woodard was enlisted to play Lafayette Reynold’s mom, while James Frain joined the cast as bad vampire Franklin Mott.

Perfect, perfect, perfect! After the Season 2 ended, the internets were a buzz with who should play the role of Alicide. Thoughts ranged from Jeremy Sisto to Dwayne Johnson to Jeffrey Dean Morgan, but I think Joe Manganiello is perfect since he compliments the rest of the pretty cast and is not as recognizable as the actors aforementioned.
