True Blood Season 4-the most shocking yet! via theclicker
“True Blood” fans who just didn’t get enough vampire-on-wolf violence, outrageous sex scenes and spine-ripping action last season can take heart — according to Jim Parrack, aka Bon Temps regular Hoyt Fortenberry, the upcoming season of the show is packed with more jaw-droppers than ever before….
One of the characters that might get wild in season four is Detective Andy Bellefleur. No, really. It seems the man behind the bumbling lawman, Chris Bauer, spent his between-seasons hiatus getting ready to strip down — if necessary. As for Hoyt, Parrack revealed that he won’t be revealing much at all on camera.
“There are certain people with a certain quality of physique. Why not get those people naked instead?” the actor explained. “And so they do.”
I’m not sure I want to see Andy naked but I’m game for naked Eric, Alcide, even Hoyt….let the games begin!!

“It’s very nerve racking, but we’re excited,” Sam said. “I’m most excited about just the lifestyle change, believe it or not, even though it’s going to take away all our freedom.” Added Missy, “It’s going to be very different.”
Two cute little Sam Jr’s….nothing wrong with that!!
True Blue for True Blood -Tainted Love Comic boos interview with Joe Corroney via fangoria.com
With two issues of IDW’s TRUE BLOOD: TAINTED LOVE in stores now, and the hit HBO’s TV series set to return June 26, artist Joe Corroney spoke with FANGORIA about illustrating the comic book series and what readers should expect from this second volume. For Bill and Sookie fans, Fango also has an exclusive look at the first five pages of TRUE BLOOD: TAINTED LOVE #2.
FANG: How did you become involved in the TRUE BLOOD comic book series?
CORRONEY: Well, I’ve been illustrating for IDW Publishing since 2005. The first comic book series I illustrated for them was SPIKE VS. DRACULA, which was actually based off another vampire TV series, BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER. Years before that, I was also creating horror artwork for White Wolf Publishing, from 1998-2000. I was doing lots of werewolf, vampire and zombie art; so the horror genre has been a regular part of my career for awhile now, just like STAR WARS has been. I’m also a really huge horror film buff, so I really do enjoy working with the material whenever I can.
With TRUE BLOOD, IDW was interested in acquiring the license to produce the comic books based on the TV show. My publisher contacted me and asked me to produce a cover on short notice for the pitch meeting with HBO. My colorist collaborator, Brian Miller, and I had about a weekend to turn it around for them. I was a huge fan of the show since the very first episode, so I was inspired to create something really special for the project. I believe the artwork helped with HBO’s decision to work with IDW, so they started work on producing the comics. Once we swapped out a character with another one later on for final design, the artwork Brian and I illustrated ended up being used as the cover for the first issue. Because I was involved at an early stage with the project and I was already a fan of TRUE BLOOD, they asked me to contribute further for the comic book series. See full article here
I’m not a comic person by any means but even and I have my interest peaked after seeing some of these illustrations!
New Waiting sucks video starring Terry! via examiner.com
In an attempt to make the wait for “True Blood’s” fourth-season premiere on HBO June 12 slightly less painful, the show has created a rather effective new “Waiting Sucks” campaign to give us hints at the new season from a production standpoint.
If you have been keeping track, some of the previews thus far have featured Eric, Bill, and Jason Stackhouse. (You can check all of these out over at this link.) This time, we have a new preview featuring none other than Terry and Arlene — one that features a rather cryptic note suddenly appearing on the wall that should remind just about everyone that Rene is actually the father of Arlene’s baby.

Oh this season is going to be so good…waiting does totally suck!!
Kristen Bauer fights to save tiger via ecorazzi
Kristin Bauer may play a blood hungry vampiress on the hit show True Blood, but in real life she’s a vegan who is all about lending her support to protecting animal rights. Her latest cause has her teamed up with the Animal Legal Defense Fund (ALDF) to help free a Siberian-Bengal tiger.
Tony the tiger (not the cereal mascot), has been living at a truck stop in Grosse Tete, Louisiana for the past decade as a “tourist attraction.” The confinement is not only inhumane but also illegal, and this morning the ALDF filed a lawsuit against the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries.
“One of the big problems for me with zoos, circuses, and Tony, is that there are five or ten minutes when they are viewed, and someone is entertained— but the tiger has to live there his whole life, 24/7, 365 days a year,” said Bauer. “It’s incredibly, incredibly unfair. So it’s great to be able to bring more attention to it. I think these things only go on so long because they’re out of view.”
She speaks out for Tony in the below video
It is really sad to see that Tiger in such a small enclosure…I hope they are able to get him moved somewhere more fit for a tiger.
