This weekend, the HBO vampire series “True Blood” wraps up its second season, but don’t expect the bloodsuckers to stay dead for too long—not only will this year’s ratings ensure a third season for “True Blood,” but many of the cast members will be popping up in other places outside of Bon Temps, Louisiana.
One such place, believe it or not, is the comic book world—whether in a film adaptation or in the paneled pages themselves, these five “True Blood” regulars all have a connection to comics.
ANNA PAQUIN: Currently, actress Anna Paquin is best known as the telepathic Sookie Stackhouse on “True Blood,” but comic book fans know her for a different role: the power-absorbing mutant Rogue in the “X-Men” franchise.

STEPHEN MOYER: Being both Paquin’s on-screen and off-screen boyfriend isn’t Stephen Moyer’s only connection to the realm of comics—he’s currently filming a co-starring role in “Priest,” which ironically features “Twilight” rival Cam Gigandet.
