1. Star Trek-J.J. Abrams (2009)
Although it’s an alternate time line than the others, it really gets into back-story. Plus there are little “ins” for fans of the original movies.

2. The Voyage Home (1986)
This is my favorite of the original cast, just because Shatner is the least obnoxious in it. Plus, Spock mind-melds with a whale!

3. First Contact (1996)
Another one full of back story. We get to see how warp capabilities were discovered. And Data gets freaky with the Borg Queen.

4. Wrath of Khan (1982)
Great one liners. Plus the eternal “The needs of the many…” speech.

5. Nemesis (2002)
The last journey of the Next Generation crew. I had a very hard time between this and Insurrection. So check out both.
