Review:
Oh, my what a magnificent, creepily, chilling horror short story!!! Wow this author knows how to really pull you into a story quickly, at the same time you feel distress and alarm as you read the story unfolding. I already have some of her other books in my want to read file.
The synopsis does a great job of telling you what the story is about, but it can’t express the complete horror of this story. I’m a mom and imagine my shock and disgust when I was rooting for the jerk to take out one of the girls. He is a repulsive jerk , but what they put him through, had me wanting to see him escape (hopefully having learned a lesson).
This story has a solid 4 stars the only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because I wanted more. How did the family evolve into serial killers? How many others were there? I hope the author writes more in this world.
I highly recommend this for adults only, that enjoy the darker side of horror.
