NY Science Fiction Examiner AJ DiChiara:
Smallville, the hit CW show which has chronicled the adventures of a teenaged Clark Kent (A.K.A. Superman) for the past eight years is finally ending its run with season nine.
Since its debut in 2001, Smallville has continued to grow its fanbase—a fanbase that is very loyal and very vocal when it comes to their favorite show. Search through any Smallville blog and you’ll see that fans can be downright nasty when they feel that the shows haven’t been up to par or the characters are becoming too tiresome.
The producers are promising that they are not going to be slacking off, and have stated that although this is the final season, they are not pulling any punches and have saved the best for last. Indeed at the recent LA Comic-Con, they said that this season is going darker.
I know a lot of people who love this show. I used to watch it but I lost interest. Are you a big fan of Smallville? Are you sad it’s ending soon? Or do you think it’s played out at this point?
Sure. I'd love to do an interview. The Human Factor is a sci-fi story and The GRINNING MAN is a horror/thriller. Visit my website for more info http://www.ajdichiara.com
