Miley’s got a new movie in the works! Disney has acquired the screen rights to Aprilynne Pike’s bestselling young adult novel, Wings, and Miley is set to star!

She will play Laurel, a 15-year-old girl who, after years of being home-schooled and living in a small town, struggles to adjust to a big high school. Her suspicion that she is different from her peers is proven when Laurel sprouts a pair of wings and discovers that she is a fairy!

Does anyone else feel like this is an abomination?! Why, Disney, why? I just don’t think Miley is right to play the role of Laurel. I can just hear her Britney-like Y’all’ing throughout the entire movie…Gag me.
