‘True Blood’ most gay-friendly show on TV, officially

True Blood is the most inclusive show on TV with six regular or recurring lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender characters, according to GLAAD’s annual “Where We Are on TV” study. HBO features the greatest number of LGBT characters on cable with a total of 10 for the 2010-11 season. ABC leads the broadcast networks with 11 LGBT characters out of 152 total series regular characters (7.2 percent). (CBS is in last place with just one regular.) ABC Family also finishes near the top of the scorecard with seven regular LGBT characters, which ties it with Showtime.

Eliza Dushku discusses the Faith spinoff that never happened

Dushku recently addressed that rumored Faith series, revealing the real reason it never happened:

“After I finished the show, I’d withdrawn from school and followed up with a couple of films like Bring It On, but I’d had such an awesome experience working with Joss I was ready to go down that road again. So I met with Joss and Tim Minear and spoke about the potential for a Faith spin-off. But Buffy had just gone on seven years and Joss was really straightforward: he couldn’t play the kind of day-to-day role he had on Buffy—he had his family.

I have to admit that I’ve never watched Being Human. I don’t know anyone who does watch it. Do you?

I’m disappointed in the way it played out with the Faith series with Eliza Dusku. I would have loved it!
