A sacrifice on ‘The Vampire Diaries’?
We know so much more about The Vampire Diaries after the last episode! We got more information about Klaus, Elijah and, of course, the Petrova doppelgangers and the curse. It seems that Klaus will stop at nothing to break the sun and moon spell – but what does that mean for Elena? In these pictures from the next episode, ‘The Sacrifice’, it looks like Bonnie’s using her witch-skills again, but what’s she trying to do? Meanwhile, Caroline and Tyler go for a walk in the woods… how on earth will that end? Unfortunately for us, the show’s not back until December, so feast your eyes on these snaps to keep you going!
The Vampire Diaries Spoilers: Many More Werewolves to Come!
Here’s the bad news for Vampire Diaries fans: when the show finally returns with a new episode on December 2, it will only air one more after that before going on hiatus again until 2011.
But here’s the very exciting news for Vampire Diaries fans: the series will end the year with a major mid-season cliffhanger. As if we expected anything else, right?
Producer Julie Plec tells Entertainment Weekly that cliffhanger will center around Tyler’s transformation, along with the surprise that he “won’t be the only werewolf in Mystic Falls by the time we get into the New Year.”
Smallville Sneak Peek: Meet Colonel Slade
The Vigilante Registration Act plays a major role on this Friday’s episode of Smallville.
Oliver actually registers for the law in order to protect the rest of the team, which means a run-in with Colonel Slade (guest star Michael Hogan).
Lois, meanwhile, grows frustrated with Clark because he continues to push aside her offers to help. How does she set out to prove that she’s an asset? Viewers will need to tune in to “Patriot” to find out, but the following clip gives us an idea:
‘Smallville’ Soars High, ‘Supernatural’ Sputters
That audience was up more than 12 percent from the previous week, and beat its season average by the same percentage. The last time “Smallville” came close to these numbers was on Feb. 5 when the second part of a two-hour special earned a 1.9/3. The show wouldn’t top a 1.6 household rating the rest of the season.
However, that success didn’t spill over into “Smallville’s” lead-out program on The CW’s Friday night. “Supernatural,” which last season was outpacing “Smallville” as a Thursday lead-out to “Vampire Diaries,” actually went the other direction from “Smallville,” hitting a series low. The show, starring Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki, earned just a 1.3/2. That’s 13 percent below its average this season, but has been part of an overall downward trend for the series which has not hit its 1.5 household rating average since Oct. 15.
I am going to have difficulty waiting for more VD episodes. We get one more episode on December 2nd and then a hiatus until 2011. How do you think it will all play out? Who will be the sacrificed?
Ohhh the all new older werewolves sounds interesting. I see tough times head for the vamps versus werewolves. What do you think?
I am not surprised that Smallville is having a resurgence of interest, they have some die hard fans. But it does sound like Supernatural and Fringe are not doing well. Whst do you think?
