One of those hookups gets him right into the inner circle of Rab Silva and his gang that all the nearby police departments have been trying to lock up. Now he’s going undercover to find something on Rab that he can’t slither out of! But he never expected Rab to have such a stunning sister!
But when Tonio’s cover is blown will he get himself and Angel out alive?
This was an enjoyable read that was able to maintain my interest throughout. You can’t help, but feel for Tonio and the way he was betrayed by his best friend and ex-fiancé. But yet he still feels the guilt of what happened to them.
Angel was a strong female lead, the perfect match for her brave sexy cop! I enjoyed watching her fall for Tonio, even when she thought he was another thug. But of course, it was even better when she discovered the truth!
There were a few things I found to be a bit unbelievable. Like both Tonio and Rab pocketing their used condoms at one point. Can you saw ewww? I also found it hard to accept that the police captain needed someone to call 911 for him … wouldn’t he have his own radio to call it in? To say nothing of a law-abiding police officer having sex in public!
But overall this was a decent addition to the series and I look forward to seeing what’s up next in Sugarland!
