This book deserves an epic playlist, so I had to step up to the challenge. I’m not kidding; Of Poseidon is a book worthy of anything, even me praising it so much!

• Under the Sea by Disney

I think this song is pretty self-explanatory. I mean, Ariel= mermaid= in Of Poseidon…

 

• Still Into You by Paramore

I feel like quite a bit of this song is a bit back and forth. I like you! Wait, no, I don’t. Wait, I’m “still into you!”
This isn’t the expected Paramore song, just  like Of Poseidon isn’t your average mermaid novel.

 

• Crazy for You by Adele

Galen is crazy for Emma. Emma is crazy for Galen. And me? I’m crazy for this crazily amazing Adele song.

 

• Mine by Taylor Swift

If you’ve ever heard the song Mine or seen the Youtube video, you remember the lyrics,” do you remember when we were sitting by the water? You put your arm around me for the first time.” So much of Of Poseidon takes place by the water, and I have a thing for anything by Taylor.

 

• One Way Ticket by Carrie Underwood

Of Poseidon has a lighter feel to it than most other books I read, so I chose this happy song by Carrie Underwood. This book is a bit like a carnival after all. (Not the cruise line!)

 

• Smile by Avril Lavigne

I smiled through reading this book. I smile through writing this playlist. I smile because Avril Lavigne is a great singer!
