Summary
Although, Aislinn finds it tempting to be with Seth, she also cannot
avoid Keenan. No matter how callous she is to him, he continues to stalk her throughout the day, and she decides to try a different approach. Aislinn asks Keenan if he has any plans for the weekend, and he replies that he hoped to but doesn’t believe he’ll have any luck. At lunch, Aislinn tells Keenan that she still doesn’t like him, but he tells her that she might change her mind if she spent more time with him. She wonders why he is interested in her, and he replies that he doesn’t know why, there’s just something about her. Keenan takes her hand and suddenly her faerie sight is sharpened allowing her to see that the faeries around them have donned human glamours. Keenan asks Aislinn to give him a chance, and wonders if they can start over, and she agrees. Keenan asks her to attend a carnival with him, and Aislinn agrees, as friends. Rianne, Leslie, and Carla come over to them, inquiring with Keenan if Aislinn said yes, and he affirms. Aislinn becomes aware that they were all in on a plan to get her to go out with Keenan. Keenan invites them to come along and meet some of his old friends, and much to Aislinn’s disdain they accept the invitation. Keenan is honored that Aislinn is going with him, even as a friend. Aislinn hopes that she can handle this.
