‘Hitting the Ground’

We open with Lorena attacking Sookie who’s been caught attempting to rescue Bill. Lorena remarks at how delicious Sookie tastes and asks “What are you?” to which Sookie replies “I’m the bitch that’s gonna kill you.” All the while Bill is crawling over to the women. He loops a length of the silver chain around Lorena’s neck and pulls her backwards on top of him. He tells Sookie to kill her. Lorena gives up and says to Bill “I love you.” Sookie yells “You wouldn’t know love it if kicked you in the face!!” and she stakes Lorena. Just as the handle plunges into Lorena’s heart Bill shoves her upward keeping the stake from driving into him as well. Lorena vomits a stream of blood that would make Old Faithful jealous and explodes blood and guts all over Bill. You hear him gurgling as he becomes completely engulfed in Lorena’s remains. He does not respond to Sookie as she tries to get his attention and she begins screaming for help.

Alcide and Tara come running in as Sookie is digging though the bloody mess looking for the handcuff keys that Lorena had. Tara asks if he’s dead and how Sookie knows for sure he’s not dead. She holds up a length of intestine and says “When they’re dead they look like THIS!” As they are wrapping Bill up in a tarp to put him in Alcide’s van, Debbie walks in and pulls a gun on the trio.

Sam encounters a man standing guard at the end of a road and informs him that he’s looking for the dog fights. The man tells him that he doesn’t know anything about any dog fights. Sam continues to ask trying to convince the man that he’s really interested in the fights. The man pulls a gun on Sam and advises him to leave. Sam leaves. However he only drives off into the woods and changes into a pit bull.
