Chapters 1 – 3- by Caro
Chapter One – The Dark Lord Ascending
Snape and Yaxley arrived at the Malfoy Manor, where everyone was already gathered. Once they’ve took their places, Snape informed the Dark Lord that the Order of the Phoenix intended to move Harry the next Saturday. The Death Eaters are instantly interested in the new except for some whose attention is caught by an unconscious figure suspended above the polished table. Voldemort’s red eyes never left Snape’s black ones as he reassured his information. Yaxley not being satisfied tells the Dark Lord that Dawlish, the Auror, has informed him otherwise, and Harry will be moved one day before his birthday. Snape insists that his source is more reliable and that Dawlish is lying, for the Ministry will not protect Harry anymore.
Voldemort asks Yaxley if the Ministry will be his by next Saturday so it can be easier to catch Harry, which Yaxley denies, telling him that they only have Pius Thicknesse under the Imperius Curse. If Voldemort can’t touch Harry at his destination, then it will be while he travels. He personally will attend to Harry after all the mistakes that have taken place he can’t afford more. Suddenly out of nowhere a cry of misery and pain is heard making those around the table look beneath them. Voldemort immediately sends Wormtail to see what the problem is. After a moment forgetting the incident he rapidly asks for a wand from the ones present and after no one volunteering, asks for Lucius wand, who nervously gives it to him. The Dark Lord senses the in the Malfoy Family and asks them if they are not happy with his presence. Immediately Bellatrix, who had been quiet, assures him that it is an honor to have him there. Voldemort asks her whether she is not happy about her niece’s marriage to the werewolf Remus Lupin, which makes her furious and denies having anything to do with her. He recommends that she prune her family tree of those bad parts that threaten it. The figure, everyone had forgotten about moves and Snape recognizes it as one of the Hogwarts teachers. Charity Burbage, who taught the witches and wizards children about Muggles, pleaded for his help in tears. Voldemort tortured her for a while and then with a flash of green light killed her feeding her then to Nagini.
Chapter Two – In Memoriam
Harry was in his room cleaning his trunk after six years finding things like old quills, socks and a support CEDRIC DIGGORY and POTTER STINKS badge among other things. He was not going back to school and he only packed in a rucksack what he needed for his trip. While cleaning the Daily Prophet newspapers he came across one with an article that read “Albus Dumbledore Remembered”. In it and old friend his, Elphias Dodge, talked about they had met, their time at Hogwarts, long friendship, Dumbledore’s family and its deaths, Aberforth and so many other things that made Harry realize he didn’t know. How well Harry knew Dumbledore? Why hadn’t he ever asked about him? It had always been about Harry’s past, future and plans.
