Welcome to Morganville, you’ll never want to leave. So, you’re new to Morganville. Welcome, new resident! There are only a few important rules you need to know to feel comfortable in our quiet little town:
– Obey the speed limits.
– Don’t litter.
– Whatever you do, don’t get on the bad side of the vampires.
Yeah, we said vampires. Deal with it.
As a human newcomer, you’ll need to find yourself a vampire Protector -ö someone willing to sign a contract to keep you and yours safe from harm (especially from the other vampires). In return, you’ll pay taxes … just like in any other town. Of course, in most other towns those taxes don’t get collected by the Bloodmobile.
Oh, and if you decide not to get a Protector, you can do that, too … but you’d better learn how to run fast, stay out of the shadows, and build a network of friends who can help you. Try contacting the residents of the glass House – Michael, Eve, Shane, and Claire. they know their way around, even if they always end up in the middle of the trouble somehow.

Few days ago we brought to you the A-Z from this series HERE and now we want to show you our casting. Enjoy!

Claire Danvers is the main character in the series. She never describes herself, but we know she is not tall but normal weighted. Her hair was geting longer, brushing her shoulder. Claire is a very smart girl – she skipped few classes because of her intelligence – and almost from the beginning she feels very safe in Shane Collins arms. I’d like Rachel Leigh Cook playing her.

Shane Collins is one of the boys at the Glass House. He has brown hair, cut in uneven layers that didn’t quite manage to look punk. He is a big guy and tall to match it – just like Chris Pratt. Shanes eyes looked brown and he is not very fond of vampires. But he get used to them because his best friend became one. At home he is rarely wearing shoes, his jeans are very loose-fit and his shirts are a mess, most of the time.

Michael Glass is described as ‘his hair cut is kind of like Shane’s, in a careless mop’ – but in Michaels case it is curling blonde. He is not as big as Shane and not as muscled, though he is maybe as tall. Claire often says when looking at him it’s like watching an gorgeous blond angel. I’m thinking of Ian Ziering (more the time he played Steven Sanders in ‘Beverly Hills 90210’ than today) when I imagine Michael. Michael is dressed just like his best friend Shane – jeans, shirts and no shoes at home. First he was bound to the house as a ghost during the night, but later he asked Amelie to make him a vampire. Michael is a very talented and great guitar-player and in love with Eve.

Eve Rosser is a goth-girl with dyed-black, shag-cut hair. Her face is most of the time covered with pale make-up, heavy eyeliner and mascara. She is about Claires high and she is very slim. Eve likes to dress in black or gothic-style – dresses or skirts with skulls or black-red-stiped things. What do you think about Lily Allen? Could she have a thing for Michael since ever and work as a barrista?

Monica Morrell is Claires enemy by heart. The blond slinky pretty slimy girl is the daughter of Morganvilles mayor and nobody wants to get on her bad side. She is always perfectly dressed and styled and I think Dakota Fanning would be great in portraying the always stylish bitchy princess.

Richard Morrell is brother to Monica and was police officer at first. After his fathers dead he became mayor of Morganville. Perhaps Ryan Eggold will be great in this role. As loyal to vampires but also protective to humans. Because Richard cares a lot for his sister (also he knows that she is a hag from hell), for Clair and her friends.

Amelie is founder of Morganville. She very seldom showes her human side but everything about her is elegant. From the shining golden crown of her hair to the clothes she is wearing. Also Claire thinks about her as ‘the ice queen walked so very undead Grace Kelly’ I don’t want to put Princess Gracia Patricia in this role. I want to see Portia Degeneres as Amelie, who likes pastelle colours and preferes skirts and dresses to pants.

Oliver, the owner of Common Grounds, is an older man. Born 1599 and in 1658 he was made a vampire. Oliver is described tall, thin, with graying curly hair that fell nearly to his shoulders. He has a nice square face, wide dark eyes and a ruby earring in his left ear. Claire describes him as ‘hippie to the core by day’. Oliver is the second in lead at Morganvilles vampires and it was his fault that Michael became a ghost. Should I be sorry that I like Bill Nighy to be some kind of a bad guy again?

Myrnin has long curling lush black hair that fell to his shoulder, expressive dark eyes and full lips. He is flawless with faintly golden skin, frozen at the age of maybe twenty-five. My perfect Myrnin is Russel Brand with his big dark puppy-dog eyes. Myrnin preferes old things to new like an abacus to a computer and he loves books, science – especially alchemy – and Ada. Ada is the computer he created of the soul of girl, wood and scrap. Myrnin becomes Clairs teacher and weird friend. Before he, Clair and Dr. Mills found a cure he needed some kind of medicine to stay sane.

Ada is a two-dimensional image, kind of projection, from the weird steampunk computer Myrnin has created out of wood and scrap. A young women with Victorian skirts and a high-necked blouse, her hair was up in a complicated bun, leaving wisps around her face. Here I don’t want to cast a real person but I think Victoria Everglot from ‘Corpse Bride’ is perfect here.

Samuel Glass has red hair and is Michaels grandfather. Untill Michael became one he was the youngest vampire in town. I can imagine Zack Ward to be deep in love with Amelie, which is in love with him, too. In book six he sacrifices himself to save the town, his family and especially Amelie.

Shanes father, Frank Collins, is described as thin, lean, with long graying hair down around his face. But when I first read about him and his biker-gang the only one who popped up in my head was Paul Teutul sen. … with all his awesomeness and great tattoos.

Jason Rosser is Eves more or less dangerous and insane brother who just came out of prison. He was in because he killed girls, well everybody thought it was him. I want Gustaf Skarsgård play this ragged being.

Mr. Bishop. Well, he is father of Amelie and very very very dangerous. What do you think about Gary Oldman? He is so awesome in being cruel.

Ysandre and Francois accompanies Mr. Bishop. We know about Ysandre that she was dangerous as human and is mortal as vampire. Francois is evil and scary, too. He even bit Claire once. May sound crazy, but i like to cast Melinda Clarke and Jonathan Rhys Meyers for this scary couple.
