There is a huge need to discuss the books we love. That’s why OpenBookSociety exists. Nikki and I wanted to share our love of books with others.
Do you take to the internet to discuss your favorite books? Do you think that’s the way it works now (as opposed to books clubs in libraries)? Why do you think the web has become such a popular outlet for this kind of thing?
just for me … YES, it turnes to web … because here in germany is nearly nobody i can talk about my love to supernaturals … they think i am strange for my obsessions
and the books which are translated are often worse translated and i know only a few people who want to read in english
so the internet, the online-bookclubs and mostly the people i meet there are my way to survive
