I am dreading the time when there are no more Sookie Stackhouse books left to read. I enjoy the series so much and will probably join the throngs of thousands who will surely gripe when Charlaine publishes her last novel about our beloved telepathic waitress. Female fans will sigh in resignation over the loss of Bill and Eric. Copies of the Sookie Stackhouse series all over the world will be torn and tattered from being handled over and over again with each re-read. It will indeed be a sad day.
But all good things must come to an end. Just read the last three books at a snails pace if you can.
Do you think it’s time the Stackhouse series comes to an end? What do expect to happen in her next three novels? How do you think Charlaine will play out Sookie relationships with Bill and Eric? Will she end up with one of them or someone completely different?
