Chapter 18 The Funeral

Summary:
In this chapter Jacob shows up at Bella’s door to talk about the Cullens. He wants to know how long Alice will staying and if the others are coming back. They also talk about things going back to normal after Alice leaves. Just as they are about to kiss the phone rings, Jake answers and the person asks for Charlie. When Jacob informs them that Charlie is at a the funeral, they hang up right away.
Bella gets upset at Jacob for answering her phone. Alice comes back and has a vision which bothers her. Bella asks her what happened. It turns out that Rosalie called Edward and told him that Bella was dead.
Questions to consideration:
Do you think it was really necessary for Embry and Jared to have to be with Jake when he went to Bella’s?
Would Edward have reacted the same way if Rosalie wouldn’t have told him that Bella jumped off a cliff, when he called Bella’s house?
