Sookie Stackhouse Is Coming Back!! New True Blood Poster!!
Does True Blood Trounce Twilight on Twitter?
OK, so you may hate Twitter ’cause you don’t wanna read about Kirstie Alley’s butter-withdrawal pissiness or Lindsay Lohan’s nonsensical pleas that you buy her leggings. Understandable.
But whether you love or hate the emo network, we think the True Blood Twitter proves there are some fabulous things the microblogging site can do. Especially for bloodthirsty types like us!
We (like you, we’re sure) have been mourning the break between True Blood seasons, but the Twitter led us to a clip that quenched a certain hunger we had…
And we mean our obsession with our favorite sexy vamp, Eric, played by the delectable Alexander Skarsgård!
‘Vampire Diaries’ costume designer Jennifer Bryan talks shirtless scenes and leather jackets
ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: Let’s just get right to it. The shirtlessness: Is that something that’s usually in the script, or something you negotiate with the actors?
JENNIFER BRYAN: There’s a couple of ways that it has evolved. I would say almost all the time, the writers put it in. But they dole it out in small measures. If the story calls for it, that’s what happens. But I don’t think they had expected such a strong positive reaction, like, “More! More!”
Do the actors embrace it? What’s their reaction?
It’s middle-of-the-road. Paul [Wesley] and Ian [Somerhalder] take what they do really seriously, so we really try to not be gratuitous.
There was that one episode when Stefan was putting on his shirt as he walked into his bedroom. I’m not complaining, but I was like, he had to do that right then? He couldn’t have done that in the hallway on the way to his room, off-camera?
It gave him something to do. It’s almost like we used it as a connector because we needed him to work into another scene where his shirt was on. So we had to make the shirt exist. I’m puttin’ it on, and I’m walking into the room, so the next time you see him, it wouldn’t seem like a continuity mistake.

The Vampire Diaries Bosses Spill on Damon, Elena and the Craziness Ahead
That is the plan as the CW’s highly addictive Vampire Diaries finally returns tonight, picking up several weeks after the show’s best shocker yet: Katherine (Nina Dobrev) wasn’t in the tomb. Gaaah! And there is a woman in the world who does not want to be with Ian Somerhalder. Double gaaah! (And wait…really?!)
Turns out, according to the show’s boss Kevin Williamson, the tomb opening without Katherine inside was just one of six—yes, six—major cliffhangers he’s planning for the rest of the season…
Vampire Diaries, Nina Dobrev, Paul Wesley Bob Mahoney/The CW
“He has to realize, ‘Wait, this woman didn’t want me?’ ” Williamson says of Somerhalder’s character Damon, who realized in the most recent episode that the love of his life has been avoiding him for nearly century and a half. ” ‘One hundred and forty-five years I have pined for her, and she’s not there? And she knew it?’ And he’s furious.”
I like the new promo from True Blood Season 3, but I’d have rather seen Eric’s nekid butt. lol.
I have mad hate for Twitter, so I have no idea who trounces who on there.
The costume designer for Vampire Diaries, has some really funny stories. And I wouldn’t mind if she took a few pics of those shirtless hunks.
Ohhhh nooooo please Kevin Williamson do not make Damon suddenly a good person. His nastiness is way too much fun. He’s over half the reason I tune in each week for the show. I never know what he might do and I love it! What do you think?
