Supernatural Season 6 – Fredric Lehne back as Azazel?
There’s no studio confirmation just yet, but actor Fredric Lehne says he’ll be returning to CW’s Supernatural, Season 6 to reprise his role as Azazel. Zap2it.com announced that Lehne gave fans the good news at Creation Entertainment’s Salute to Supernatural convention in New Jersey. I had the opportunity to attend a similar Twilight convention offered by Creation Entertainment in Atlanta, Georgia, and it was fantastic!
‘True Blood’: Sookie Stackhouse is on the case
One of the bigger problems “True Blood” has had from its very earliest days is that its central character — Sookie Stackhouse — isn’t the best character to build a series around. She can be a little dumb. She doesn’t always have the best ideas. And she tends to settle into her one true love with Bill and end up kind of boring. She’s not a bad character to build a show about vampires around, because she’s someone who seems naturally empathetic and open to just about everyone she meets (a plus in a universe where vampires are often hated). Plus, her telepathic powers open up the storytelling somewhat, when she’s smart enough to use them well. But too often, the show has to figure out ways to sideline Sookie, and the really interesting stuff is happening in some other storyline, but we keep going to spend time with Sookie and Bill making out or something. None of it feels as exciting as the other stuff.
Taylor Kinney Cast in THE VAMPIRE DIARIES
Actor Taylor Kinney has signed on to join the cast of THE VAMPIRE DIARIES. Kinney will have a recurring role and will make his first appearance when the second season premieres in the fall on September 9.
Kinney has been cast as Mason Lockwood, the younger brother of the late Mayor Lockwood. The mayor died in last season’s finale, and now Mason enters the scene to offer guidance to his nephew Tyler (Michael Trevino). Mason Lockwood is described as being sexy and athletic with charm to spare. This character however doesn’t exist in the original series of books from L.J. Smith.

I think the article about Sookie is a bit harsh. Okay, she is naive but I would go as far as to call her dumb. What do you think?
