Phillip Darden, head of Financial Affairs has a meeting with the school council regarding the important 4.7 million dollar impending grant and who shall helm the program. The college cannot afford to lose such an important grant simply because they can’t seem to find anyone to run it. Darden believes his cousin, Dr. Clayton Henderson, would be a perfect fit for such a program. Little does the council know that Henderson is mooching off of his cousin and Darden wants rid of him. What the council does know is that Henderson was fired from his previous position, due to his illegal stem cell collection. After deliberating on the huge trust issue, the council eventually decides to give Henderson a chance and hires him.

Back at Rodney’s apartment, Cassie returns to find Rodney on her computer. He tells her there was a virus going around and he downloaded a patch to protect her computer. Suspicious, Cassie gets on her computer and scrolls through the history. After confirming his story, he grabs his backpack and heads for the door. She stops him mid-flight and asks if he had looked through her emails, for she was expecting one and still has yet to receive it. He replies by saying he simply downloaded the patch and never checked her emails and heads out the door.
