With Thanksgiving this Thursday, all movies have been released on Wed. Some of these make me wish I lived in the limited release areas.
Princess and the Frog (NY, LA, Nationwide Dec. 11th)
Adventure, Animation, Family, Comedy, Musical (G)
(From Comingsoon.net) Walt Disney Animation Studios presents the musical “The Princess and the Frog,” an animated comedy set in the great city of New Orleans. From the creators of “The Little Mermaid” and “Aladdin” comes a modern twist on a classic tale, featuring a beautiful girl named Tiana (Anika Noni Rose), a frog prince who desperately wants to be human again, and a fateful kiss that leads them both on a hilarious adventure through the mystical bayous of Louisiana. “The Princess and the Frog” marks the return to hand-drawn animation from the revered team of John Musker and Ron Clements, with music by Oscar®-winning composer Randy Newman (“Monsters, Inc.,” “Cars,” “Toy Story”)
The Road (Limited)
Action, Thriller (R)
(From Comingsoon.net) Based on Cormac McCarthy’s beloved, best-selling and Pulitzer Prize winning novel, Academy Award nominee Viggo Mortensen leads an all star cast in the big screen adaptation of “The Road” – the epic post apocalyptic tale of a journey taken by a father (Viggo Mortensen) and his young son (newcomer Kodi Smit-McPhee) across a barren landscape that was blasted by an unnamed cataclysm that destroyed civilization and most life on earth.

I want to see the Princess and the Frog so bad that it makes me sad I don’t live in LA, but I guess I can wait a few weeks. Ninja Assassin looks to be either ridiculous or awesome… it all depends.
Are you going to see any of these Thanksgiving weekend?
