Lee, who launched a grass-roots campaign earlier this year to include two of her songs—”I’m Here” and “Take Me Away”—on the soundtrack, has been advised by Summit that she will not be featured on the album. Lee fans should not storm the studio’s offices just yet though, as she has been asked to submit a song for consideration on the follow-up “Eclipse” soundtrack.

Summit have advised my team that while they are more than impressed with the songs and with my fan base, the music that was submitted did not fit the overall tone of the soundtrack and won’t be used for “New Moon.” Summit continues to deal with my team, here in Australia and in LA, and have requested that we submit a never-before-heard “Lee Safar” original track for the “Eclipse” soundtrack.  I have been booked for the Official “Twilight” Tour here in Australia next month.

I have never heard of Lee Safar before, but I just went and listened to her song “I’m Here” and it was ok. The lyrics go good with the Twilight Saga. I personally am not sure I like the high pitch she uses while singing, but the song was still good none the less.
