Intertwined: Chapter 13 by Caro

Next morning Aden and Mary Ann found themselves with Victoria and Riley waiting for them outside the front doors of the school. Apparently not only Victoria’s people could sense Aden but other creatures also. Now goblins, fairies and witches were after him too. And in order to protect them until Victoria’s father raises again, she and Riley will be attending school. For both Aden and Mary Ann this was great news.

Mary Ann: “You can’t just go around killing people. There are rules, laws that must be obeyed or–”

Riley: “I was only teasing, Mary Ann. I would not harm your friends.”

Mary Ann: “Oh. Don’t scare me like that!”

Riley: “Your enemies, however…”
