Why are their no new ideas? – (Good Question!) – bordersblog
Not another film in 3D! Will shooting 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea make it or break it? What do you think of Harry Potter being one of the top grossing films of all time? Which movie was your favorite out of the series?
Have you seen Gattaca? This is one movie that rarely gets any cable air time. It should. It’s a great flick. A note on the same article; I totally agree with ‘2012′ being utterly ridiculous. No one and nothing without superhuman/or inhuman powers could escape every obstacles like the main characters did. It simply wasn’t believable. Really? You’re driving a limo and it leaps over cracks in the earth bigger than the football stadium like a feather being propelled by the wind?? Come on. Major fail!
About Hollywood having no new ideas….I don’t believe it’s about the “new idea” anymore when it comes to film. It’s about time tested stories that sell. The one major new idea in film came out last year, it was called Inception, but even that storyline (dream within a dream) has been touched upon somewhere, somehow. I think more new ‘books’ should be adapted and Hollywood should layoff the remakes.
