Olivia Cunning delivers the perfect blend of steamy sex, heartwarming romance, and a wicked sense of humor in this ménage story featuring the hottest guy in the Sinners band.
Trey Mills, the notoriously sexy Sinners rhythm guitarist, gives up his bisexual lifestyle and is swept into a hot, heady romance with Reagan Elliot, a female rock star sensation. But when Trey encounters Reagan’s sexy bisexual roommate, Ethan Conner, he can no longer deny who he is or what he wants. Reagan heartily agrees to a solution that opens up a hot new world of sexual experience–and love–with the two men she wants the most. (Goodreads)
Review:
Trey Mills has been in love with Brian Sinclair ever since he can remember. Watching Brian find happiness by starting his own family with his wife Myrna has been both his greatest joy and his ultimate torture. Trey knows he has to find a way to move on with his life. While seeking solace at his brother’s mansion, he meets Reagan Elliot. She has just landed the coveted spot of stand in rhythm guitarist for Dare’s band, Exodus End, and she makes an unforgettable impression on Trey for more than just her stellar talent.
When Dare suggests that Reagan get a taste of life on the road by following the Sinners on tour for a few dates, white-hot sparks start to fly and no one does it better than Olivia Cunning! Sassy and talented Reagan is the kind of girl that Trey can see committing himself to but there is still a part of him that is missing. That is until he meets Reagan’s roommate, Ethan Connor. Ethan and Reagan used to be more than friends until she caught him with another man. Ethan is unable to tell her the truth about his bisexuality and allows her to continue to think he is gay just to stay close to her. He recognizes himself in the enigmatic Trey Mills and is determined to get him to be honest about who he really is and the feelings that exist between them. Alone they are scorching but together – Trey, Reagan and Ethan have one of the hottest love affairs ever captured in print.
It’s no secret that I am a Cunning junkie. I would probably read her laundry list if she published it! Double Time was so worth the wait and even though it was printed out of sequence (books for Jace and Eric were intended to be released first) and some of the details of the band’s relationships are missing, it didn’t take anything away from the story. Olivia makes you really feel Trey’s heartbreak over Brian and it is the one thing that stuck with me throughout the book. It added a complex and emotional edge to Trey that we have not seen before and Sinner’s fans will love him all the more for it.
I will now return to waiting for the rest of the Sinner’s books to come out and devouring everything Olivia writes because it just doesn’t get any hotter or any better. On and off stage…
