Chapter 6

The next three days, after the funeral, Sookie spent most of her time cleaning out Gran’s room with Arlene’s help. Sookie didn’t want Gran’s clothes, but her jewelry was dear to Sookie’s heart and as Arlene backed the boxes she asked about Adele’s car. As she looked at the now clean room, Sookie thought about moving into Gran’s room permanently. As they packed Arlene’s car, she had offered to take the boxes to the collection center, Sookie hugged and kissed her goodbye.
