Two separate websites promise to deliver on the desire some fans have to live the life of a vampire. November, Habbo is opening Twilight-themed rooms to celebrate the opening of the movie the Twilight Saga: New Moon. Habbo will also be throwing online bashes to ring in the new movie as well as selling virtual items from the books.
Habbo is a pixilated virtual world popular with teenagers.
Some Twilight fans are protesting Habbo , saying the look of the avatars does not do the darkly engaging world of Twilight justice. There is an alternative by online world Second Life. The website allows users to become vampires, complete with wings to soar through the night skies with other vampire friends. Bloodlines – the vampire game found within Second Life – gives vampires the ability to hunt human avatars, draining their blood and turning them into vampires as well.

I’m not too sure how keen I am on this idea. It seems oddly intriguing and I might have to check it out!
