The book is the tale of a vampire (Stefan) that falls in love with a young woman he meets at school, only to find that someone else is stalking the humans of the town. Complete with an evil brother (Damon), “The Vampire Diaries” has been brought to the small screen to capture the attention of Twilight fans.

However, if you’re expecting clumsy little Bella’s angst you may find yourself disappointed.  The CW adaption of “The Vampire Diaries” appears to be a dark tale of undead life. In this second webseries episode, Jason is shown sneaking into Stefan’s house leaving behind traps for the vampire to weaken him and prevent him from hurting anyone else.

I’m really excited for the premiere of Vampire Diaries. I’ve been itching for a show in between Twilight and True Blood and this fits the bill. I like that it’s darker.
